Post P4G Seoul Summit Efforts towards COP26		 Crystal Hall D
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the international community has strengthened theirs efforts to address climate change as we begin the implementation of the Paris Agreement. To add on these commitments Korea has also announced ambitious policies and hosted the 2021 P4G Seoul Summit in May with 67 leaders participating at the high-level segment.
This session will review the outcome of the P4G Seoul Summit and discuss how we can further accelerate the efforts of P4G. We will also examine what the international community needs to do further to achieve the global goals running up to COP26 in Glasgow.

코로나19로 인한 어려움 속에서도 국제사회는 파리협정 이행 원년을 맞아 기후변화 대응을 위한 노력을 가속화하고 있다. 우리나라도 이러한 노력에 기여하기 위해 야심찬 기후정책을 제시하며 2021년 5월 67명의 정상급 인사들이 참여한 가운데 P4G 서울 정상회의를 개최하였다.
금번 세션에서는 P4G 서울 정상회의 성과 평가 및 향후 P4G를 통한 노력을 어떻게 발전시켜 나갈지 논의한다. 또, 영국 개최 COP26을 준비하면서 국제사회가 글로벌 목표 달성을 위해 어떤 노력을 더 할 수 있을지에 대해서도 점검한다.
