이안 데 크루즈는 혁신적 민관협력 파트너십을 지원하는 신생 국제 협력체인 P4G 사무국장으로 재직 중이다. 식량, 물, 주거, 에너지 및 지속가능한 자원 이용과 같은 중요 국제 의제 관련 파트너십을 육성하기 위해 정부, 기업, 시민사회 등 다양한 행위자들과의 협력을 강화하는 노력을 주도하고 있다.

P4G에서 근무하기 전에는, ‘경제와 기후에 대한 글로벌 협의체’에서 과장대리로 재직하였다. 비영리 국제단체인 월드 비전에서 인도적 지원·개발협력에서의 기후변화 대응 공동 책임자로 활동하였다. 또한 에너지, 자원관리, 운송, 도시계획 분야 관련 호주 내 여럿 민관협력 프로젝트를 성공적으로 추진한 경력을 가지고 있다.

이안은 웨스턴오스트레일리아 대학교에서 법학 학사와 경영학 학사를, 오스트레일리아경영대학원에서 MBA 학위를 취득하였다.

Ian de Cruz is the Global Director of P4G, Partnering for Green Growth and Global Goals 2030, a new initiative to support innovative public-private partnerships that advances the new economy. He leads efforts to bring together global government, business, and civil-society organizations to grow partnerships to supply humanity’s greatest needs: food, water, shelter, energy and sustainable use of resources. Ian directs P4G’s Global Hub from World Resources Institute’s headquarters in Washington DC.

Prior to joining P4G, Ian worked at the Global Commission on the Economy and Climate, serving as Deputy Director of Global Strategy and Partnerships. He has co-led the integration of climate change within core humanitarian and development work of World Vision. Ian has also helped shape large complex commercial transactions of public private partnership projects in infrastructure in Australia in the energy, resources, transport and urban planning sectors.

Ian holds an MBA degree from the Australian Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce Degrees from the University of Western Australia.
