Following Asia’s rapidly changing environment, in terms of the new order and cooperative leadership, it is imperative that Jeju National University cooperate closely with other universities in the developing countries for the future of the East Asian region.
It is hoped that the discussions regarding the higher education sector carried out by university presidents from these countries along with Jeju National University will project some new perspectives as to what the role of each university might be. It is further hoped that through this discussion, a new Asian value culture in the advent of a new society might be speaheaded while possibilities in a common educational program between these Asian universities are sought out.

급변하는 아시아의 환경은 새로운 질서와 협력적 리더십을 요구하고 있다. 따라서 제주대학교는 앞으로 무한한 가능성이 있는 개발도상국 대학의 총장들과 심도 있는 토론을 통해 관련국들과의 새로운 질서와 협력적 리더십을 위한 고등교육의 역할을 진단하는 자리를 마련하고자 한다.
이를 통하여 세계의 패권을 지역별로 갖는 ‘뉴 노멀 시대(New Normal Generation)’에 새로운 아시아적 가치문화사회를 선도하는 동시에 아시아 대학 공통 교육과정을 개발하는 가능성도 모색하고자 한다.
