The Jeju Forum started as a regional multilateral dialogue for promoting peace and prosperity in East Asia. The Forum serves as a platform for world leaders and other high-profile participants to discuss and share visions on various issues in the region. It provides profound insights into the world and contributes to cooperation and development in Asia.

아시아-한국 간 지속가능에너지시스템 협력 방안

As of 2015, energy stands at the center of global efforts to induce a paradigm shift towards low-cabon energy systems, green economies, poverty eradication and ultimately sustainable development.
From this point of view, we are going to convene a forum where we can make deep conversations about plans for cooperation between Asia and the Republic of Korea in the sustainable energy system by combining our efforts to construction of the sustainable energy system in Asia and to find out Korea’s role, considering Korea’s targets for reduction of greenhouse-gas emissions and cooperation in Asia.

에너지 문제는 지속가능한 발전에서 가장 중요한 주제로 꼽힌다. 저탄소 에너지 시스템, 녹색 경제, 빈곤 퇴치 등 다양한 에너지 분야의 패러다임 변화를 위한 세계적 차원의 노력이 필요하다.
이 세션은 유엔 지속가능발전목표(UN SDGs) 하에서 아시아의 지속가능에너지시스템 발전 및 구축 방안과 더불어 한국의 역할을 논의하고 한국의 온실가스 감축목표(IUCN)와 이를 위한 아시아 역내 국가 간 협력 방안을 모색한다
