[PyeongChang City 평창군] The session will introduce the PyeongChang Agenda for Peace (PCAP) 2030 which is the outcome of the PyeongChang Global Peace Forum (PGPF) that took place on the 1st anniversary of the PyeongChang Olympics on 9-11 Feb. 2018. The framework of PCAP 2030 has been drafted by scores of international peace institutions in concert and is scheduled to be adopted as a common agenda at the second PGPF in 2020. This session will also discuss the role of public diplomacy on peace and how we can implement the UN Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) in line with the agenda for peace-making and disarmament in the context of succeeding PyoengChang’s legacy of peace and reconciliation. 2019년 2월 9-11일 평창올림픽1주년을 기념하기 위해 열린 평창평화포럼에서 채택한 평창평화의제 (PCAP) 2030을 소개하고 한반도 및 동북아 비핵화와 항구적 평화구축을 위한 공공외교의 역할, 특히 평창평화올림 픽의 유산을 2032년 서울과 평양 올림픽과 개최와 연 계하고 그 과정에서 평화, 군축 등을 지속가능발전목표(SDGs)와 연계해서 실천하는 방안에 대해 논의한 다. 평창평화의제(PCAP) 2030은 2019~2030 장기 실천 과제로 100여개 국제 평화단체가 공동으로 초안을 작 성하였고, 한국전쟁 70주년인 2020년에 제2회 평창평화포럼에서 정식 의제로 채택할 예정이다.
