The Public-Private Network Project for the Northeast Asia Peace and Cooperation(NAPC) Platform : Evaluation and Remaining Tasks		 Crystal Hall A
The Northeast Asia Peace and Cooperation(NAPC) Platform, a part of Northeast Asia+ Community Responsibility(Policy Task 98), is aimed at transforming the regional order of confrontation and conflict into one of dialogue and cooperation.

The Korean government has reinforced a Private-Public Network for the NAPC Platform to create synergy between the public and the private sector and to activate the Platform. Domestic think tanks including the Sejong Institute have cooperated with regional counterparts regarding multilateral issues in Northeast Asia, along with regular meetings to yield practical outcomes.

This session is designed to evaluate the progress of public-private sector networks over the past four years and to discuss the remaining tasks for the future.

동북아평화협력플랫폼은 우리 정부가 국정과제 98번으로 추진하고 있는 동북아플러스 책임공동체의 일환으로, 대립과 갈등의 역내 구도를 대화와 협력의 질서로 전환하고자 하는 데 목적을 두고 있다.

우리 정부는 동 플랫폼을 활성화하고 정부-민간 협력의 시너지를 도모하기 위해 민관네트워크 구축 사업을 추진해왔다. 세종연구소 등 국내 주요 연구소는 동북아 다자 이슈를 다루는 역내 주요 국가 연구기관과 협력 네트워크를 구축하고, 정례적 회의를 개최하는 등 실질 성과를 도출하기 위한 노력해왔다.

이 세션을 통해 지난 4년 간의 민관 네트워크 구축을 평가하고 향후 추진 과제를 논의한다.
