[UNITAR CIFAL Jeju]<BR>[Jeju International Training Center and UNISDR Office for Northeast Asia and Global Education and Training Institute]<BR><BR>This session will provide opportunities to develop efficient disaster management strategies by reviewing cases of disaster risk reduction for city resilience in cities of the Asia Pacific Region and share knowledge of UNISDR experts on contingency plans for disaster protection. <BR><BR>이 세션은 아시아·태평양 지역 도시에서 발생하는 재해를 둘러싼 지방정부의 대응사례를 통해 회복력 있는 도시를 위한 재난관리대책을 수립하는데 지방 정부의 역량이 얼마나 중요한지 공감하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이 세션을 통해 사전 재해방재 대책 수립에 유엔국제전략기구(UNISDR) 전문가의 정책 역량 강화를 위한 지식을 높이고, 제주를 포함한 한국 등 아시아·태평양 지역의 사례를 공유해 이를 확산할 수 있도록 협조 체계를 구축하는 발판을 제공하고자 한다.
