Promoting a More Inclusive Development Cooperation for the Post COVID-19 Era		 Crystal Hall C
Since the 2020 global pandemic, there is a growing demand for new international cooperation beyond the existing development mechanisms, towards a more inclusive, innovative and integrated development. The efforts to reconstruct the fundamental direction of international development cooperation are being attempted from various views beyond those areas that were immediately affected by the pandemic such as health, finance, and economics. As the Busan Partnership agreement recognized that all stakeholders have a different but complementary role to play in achieving development goals, the new direction has to put inclusiveness at the core of effective partnerships for development. While it will take time for this transition to get into its stride, it is important to make agile and inclusive progress.

2020년 글로벌 팬데믹 이후 전통적인 개발협력의 메커니즘을 넘어서는 새로운 방향성, 혁신, 포용성에 대한 요구가 커지고 있다. 보건, 파이낸스, 경제 분야 등 팬데믹에서 즉각적인 영향을 받았던 분야를 넘어 코로나19 이후 개발협력의 근본적인 방향을 재구성하기 위한 국제사회의 노력이 다각도로 시도되고 있다. 부산파트너십에서 제시된 바와 같이 새로운 개발협력의 의제는 포용성을 중심으로 논의되어야 하며, 본 세션에서는 다양한 행위자를 포용하고 새로운 개발협력의 방법론을 모색하는 시간을 통해 개발협력의 혁신성, 효과성을 높이는 전략들이 논의될 것이다.
