마사토 노다는 일본의 이바라키 대학 국제·지역 환경공동창조기구 인문사회대학 소속 부교수이며, 도쿄대학 대학원 종합문화연구·교양학부의 객원 부교수이다. 노다 교수의 최근 연구 분야는 코로나19 시대 하의 SDGs와 인본 안보이다. 더불어 그는 25년 이상 일본국제개발학회에서 사무총장, 전무이사, ‘지속가능개발과 SDGs’ 연구 그룹 의장으로 활발히 활동해왔다. 또한 그는 UN 사회개발연구소, 외교부, 일본국제협력기구 등 다양한 곳에서 업무를 수행해왔다.


Masato NODA is Associate Professor of International Development, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Global and Local Environment Co-creation Institute (GLEC), National University Cooperation, Ibaraki University, Japan. He is also Visiting Associate Professor, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, the University of Tokyo. His current research topics is SDGs and human security particularly under COVID-19 pandemic. For more than a quarter of century, he has actively involved in the Japan Society for International Development (JASID) as the secretary general, the executive director and the chair of ‘Sustainable Development and SDGs’ research group. In addition, he also has working experiences for the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan International Cooperation Agency and civil society.
