제주평화연구원과 유엔 정무평화구축국(UN DPPA)이 공동으로 개최하는 이 세션에서는 청년대표들이 지역평화구축 및 협력에 대해 제언하고 이를 정책입안자들과 논의하며 동북아의 평화적 미래를 위한 길을 모색하는 장이 될 것이다. 청년 대표들은 디지털 문해력 프로그램 구축, 교육 및 기술 협력 강화, 기후 행동을 위한 동북아 청년 의회 만들기, 포용적 메타버스 육성 등 일련의 전향적 접근을 통해 지역의 국경 간 유대를 강화하는 방안을 논의할 예정이다.

This session will be jointly organized with the United Nations Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (UNDPPA) and will provide a platform for youth representatives to discuss their recommendations on regional peacebuilding and cooperation with policymakers, exploring pathways to a peaceful future for Northeast Asia. Youth representatives will discuss ways to strengthen cross-border ties in the region through a series of forward-looking approaches, including establishing digital literacy programs, furthering educational and technological cooperation, creating a Northeast Asian Youth Parliament for Climate Action, and as fostering an inclusive Metaverse.
