"제주해녀”는 자연과 공존하는 지속가능한 어업활동을 하며 공동체를 통해 전승되는 문화로써 유네스코에 등재된 인류무형문화유산이자 제주도의 독특한 문화적 상징이다.
기후변화와 환경오염의 심각성과 탄소중립을 위한 협력과 혁신에 대한 이야기를 정책적, 제도적, 학술적 관점에서의 토론도 중요하지만 바다를 삶의 터전으로 살아가고 있는 제주해녀들이 가장 현실적으로 체감하고 있는 바다환경에 대한 이야기를 현존하는 제주해녀들이 직접 포름에 참가하여 제주도의 독특한 생활 사투리(제주방언)로 솔직하게 대화하고 이를 한,영으로 통역하며 “바다의 삶과 바다환경의 변화”에 따른 환경 이슈를 스토리텔링(Storytelling) 형식으로 토론하는 새로운 형식의 제주포럼 세션을 진행하고자 함.

Jeju haenyeo, who make a living by the sea, directly participate in the session and talk about “life in the sea and changes in the sea environment” in Jeju's unique Jeju dialect.
And interpreting this story into Korean and English, we plan to hold a new type of forum session to discuss “changes in the sea environment felt by Jeju haenyeo” as an environmental issue in a storytelling format.
