FORUM

At the forum, domestic and international participants from 60 sessions dealt with various issues ranging from international cooperation & security, economy & business, culture, gender, community development, and the environment, and had wide discussions on regional and global cooperation and challenges beyond the Asia’s paradox for new Asia. And the Trilateral cooperation Secretariat participated in the forum for the first time, organizing 3 concurrent sessions, and contributed to the Jeju Forum’s goal of peace and prosperity in Korea, Japan, and China.

In the era of creative economy, Jeju Island has been globally promoting its cultural content. There have been already 10 million visitors from abroad and is expecting to reach 20 million mark in near future. With experts in "Korean Wave," animation, new media and global trend, the objective of this session is to discuss how to promote the Jeju Island and contribute to its future.

글로벌 문화 컨텐츠의 창조 경제 시대, 세계자연유산 제주가 가지고 있는 수많은 순수 컨텐츠를 다양한 분야의 문화 컨텐츠와 융합하여 1천만 관광객 돌파 이후 2천만 관광객 시대를 준비합니다. 또한 한류, 캐릭터, 멀티미디어, 트렌드 등 각 분야의 컨텐츠 전문가들이 제주 문화 컨텐츠의 활성화에 대해 제안합니다. 이를 제주특별자치도 문화융성추진단 정책에 반영하고 나아가 제주 미래에 대해 깊이 있는 대화를 나눌 수 있는 자리를 만들고자 합니다.
