[Jeju Peace Institute/KOREAN-AMERICAN CLUB 제주평화연구원 / 한미클럽] In this session, we hope to cover the various viewpoints of journalists who have expertise in North Korea nuclear issue. Our discussion topics will include the solutions to the issue, major countries’ strategies and negotiation tactics, prospect of resolution and journalist’s personal experiences. Panelists from some countries including South Korea, USA and Southeast Asia will show their particular fashions and patterns of the press dealing this issue. During this session, floor questions and the participation of audience will be welcomed for enhancing of successful discussion. 이 세션에서는 북한 핵문제라는 현안 이슈와 관련된 언론인들의 다양한 관점을 다룬다. 해결방안, 주요 관 련국의 전략, 해결 전망, 취재 과정에서 느끼는 소회 등이 토론 소재에 포함된다. 패널에는 한국, 미국, 동 남아 출신 현직 언론인들이 포함되는 만큼 소속 국가 에 따른 접근방법과 관점의 차이 그리고 보도양상도 소개될 것으로 본다. 이 세션은 패널들의 발표와 토론 이외에 방청객으로 참가하는 언론인들에게도 발언 등 의 참여 기회를 부여해서 세션 주제와 전체 포럼 세션 들에 대한 언론인들의 관심을 높이는 계기도 될 것으 로 기대한다.
