[Jeju Free International City Development Center 제주국제자유도시개발센터] The world is currently facing various problems with sustainability of human life, such as climate change, water and food shortage. As such, the countries around the world have fostered agriculture as a national strategic industry to solve these issues. With the advent of the 4th industrial revolution, the world is now preparing for a unique future high-technology in agriculture with the convergence of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries. In order to create new value-added infrastructure, it is continuing their investment in human and material resources. In this session, we invited relevant experts to share their opinions on the national strategies for differentiation and competitiveness in the agricultural sector. 세계는 이상기후와 물 부족, 식량 부족 등 인류의 지속 가능성에 대한 다양한 문제에 직면해 있다. 이에 세계 각국은 농업을 국가전략산업으로 육성하여 당면한 문제를 해결하고자 노력하고 있다. 또한, 다가올 4차 산업혁명 시대에 대비하여 1차 산업과 2·3차 산업과의 융복합을 통한 차별화된 미래 농업을 준비하고 있다. 새로운 부가가치를 창출할 수 있는 인프라를 구축하기 위해 인적·물적 자원의 투자를 지속하고 있다. 본 세션에서는 농업의 지속가능성을 위한 국가적 차원의 차별화 전략 및 경쟁력 확보 방안에 대해 관련 전문가 들을 초청하여 다양한 의견을 들어 본다.
