[Jeju Special Self-Governing Provincial Council 제주특별자치도의회]<BR><BR>Local councils of the Northeast Asian countries legislate and monitor the executive’s activities in common. But due to the cultural and political circumstances, they have been groping for ways to strengthen and develop their functions efficiently. This session consists of hearing opinions from local council members and experts on congress of the Northeast Asian countries about regional ways of legislation and the monitoring the executive’s activities and also consists of looking for the council’s own roles for peace and prosperity through it shows the effective ways to share the activity situations of the local councils.<BR><BR>동북아 지방의회는 지역특성에 맞는 입법 기능과 행 정부 감시 기능을 지녔다는 공통점이 있으며, 각 지방의회마다 문화와 정치 상황에 따라 지방의회의 기능 강화와 효율적 발전 방안을 모색하고 있다. 동북아 지방의회 의원과 의회전문가를 초청해 국가별 지방의회의 입법 기능과 행정을 감시하는 기능의 수행 방법에 관한 의견을 듣고, 각 지방의회의 활동상황을 공유할 수 있는 효율적인 방안을 제시해 평화와 번영을 위한 의회 차원의 역할을 모색하고자 한다.
