디지털화, 에너지 전환, 지정학적 불안정 등으로 인해 세계 무역 및 투자 지형에 큰 변화가 일어나고 있다. 이러한 변화는 지방정부의 무역 및 투자 유치에 대한 도전이면서 동시에 기회라고 볼 수 있다. 이 세션에서는 지방정부의 입장에서 변화하는 무역 및 투자 환경에 적응하기 위한 방안을 살펴보고, 특히 현지 경제, 사회, 환경에 최적화된 정책과 전략을 수립하고 지방외교를 통해 지방정부간 관계를 강화하는 방법에 대해 논의하고자 한다.

The global trade and investment landscape is undergoing significant transformations driven by digitalization, energy transition, and geopolitical instability. These shifts present both challenges and opportunities for subnational governments seeking to attract trade and investment. This session will explore how subnational governments can adapt to this evolving landscape. Specifically, we will discuss tailoring policies and strategies to their specific economic, social, and environmental contexts, as well as strengthening relations with other subnational governments through subnational diplomacy.
