Changing Dynamics of Northeast Asia Multilateral Cooperation		 Crystal Ballroom3
Recently, rapid changes were brought upon the Northeast Asia region due to the rising unilateralism among states, the acceleration of US-China trade tensions, and change in Japanese leadership, etc. Furthermore, tension has been growing on a global scale due to the threat of the Pandemic. Against this backdrop, the impact of the US Presidential election on November 3rd on the regional dynamics of the Northeast Asia region draws attention of the world.

In this session, ambassadors to the Republic of Korea representing countries that could directly or indirectly affect the dynamism in the Korean Peninsula and Northeast Asia will discuss the situation in this roundtable. They are expected to offer ways to reinvent multilateral cooperation to prevent the crisis caused by unilateralism from worsening. Also, they will propose and share policies from each country and ultimately find new solutions to establish multilateralism in the region.

최근 일방주의적인 국가 정책들과 가속되고 있는 미중 갈등, 일본 지도부 교체 등으로 인해 동북아 지역 정세가 급변하고 있다. 더불어 팬데믹의 위협에 직면하면서 전세계적으로 갈등이 더욱 고조되고 있다. 특히 11월 3일 미국 대선 결과가 동북아 지역 정세에 미치게 될 장기적 영향도 관심의 대상이 되고 있다.

이 세션에서는 한반도 및 동북아 정세에 직·간접적으로 영향을 줄 수 있는 국가의 주한대사를 초청하여 급변하는 동북아 정세 속에서 새로운 다자협력의 방안을 논의하고자 한다. 각 국가의 정책적 제안을 공유하고. 최종적으로 동북아시아 지역의 다자주의를 새롭게 조명하기 위한 해결책을 논의하게 될 것이다.
