As past history illustrates, the rise of a new global power in the international order has often led to hegemonic wars. In this regard, the world is carefully watching the rise of China, as well as US-China relations, with the utmost attention. In this session, panelists will offer their insights on the possibilities of war for such a change to the international political and economic order of the future. Panelists will also present their views on how this transition could affect the Korean Peninsula, and be peacefully accommodated throughout the Asia-Pacific region. 역사적으로 신흥강국의 부상은 대부분 패권전쟁으로 귀결되었다. 이러한 점에서 세계는 중국의 부상과 미 중관계의 미래에 대해 주시하고 있다. 이 세션에서는 그레이엄 앨리슨 교수를 비롯하여 미중관계에 대한 국제적 권위자들, 그리고 리자오싱 전 중국 외교장관 이 중국의 부상에 따라 전개될 국제질서의 변화와 한 반도의 미래에 대해 전망하고 바람직한 대응방안을 논의한다.
