[한국국제교류재단 Korea Foundation] As the ever-changing geopolitical circumstances on the Korean peninsula are difficult to predict, the Korean government continues its efforts to attain nuclear non-proliferation and peace in Northeast Asia. The question whether there will be a new reengineering of peace in Asia is getting a lot of attention from the international media. This session seeks to enhance the awareness and understanding of the ROK government’s vision for peace and prosperity on the Korean peninsula. There will also be a discussion among distinguished journalists from more than 20 countries on their views regarding the Korean peninsula’s future and the role of the international media. 2018년 역사적인 남북정상회담에 이어 2019년 북미정 상회담까지 한반도 정세를 둘러싸고 어느 때보다 역 동적인 상황이다. 국제 언론은 그간 긴장관계에 있던 동북아에 새로운 평화의 질서가 수립될 것인지 관심 을 집중하고 있다. 이 세션에서는 한반도 평화와 번영 을 위한 우리 정부의 비전을 소개하고, 주요 각국 언론 인들을 통해 국제언론이 보는 한반도의 미래와 언론 의 역할은 무엇인지 논의해 볼 예정이다.
