[Cheju Halla University 제주한라대학교] Fusion of new technologies including artificial intelligence (AI) is a major driving force for sustainable development and leading to rapid changes in all aspects of industry, economy and society. The potential of AI technology will bring us a major change in our way of living. However, any development of technology has generally led to the deterioration of the environment in history. In the era of the upcoming fourth industrial revolution which is embodied in hyper-connectivity and super-intelligence, there are things that we should preserve including culture, nature, environment, the value of life and ethics. In this session, we will talk about innovation that AI can generate as to climate, ecosystem, water and air quality control. We also discuss the possibility of Asian multilateral cooperation and information cloud to make “smart city of culture and tourism”. 인공지능을 포함한 신기술들의 융합은 지속가능발전 의 주요 동력이며, 산업, 경제, 사회 등 모든 면에 있어 서 급속한 변화를 주도하고 있다. 특히 인공지능의 잠 재력에 대한 예측들은 우리 생활환경의 총체적 변화 를 제시하기도 한다. 그러나 기술의 발전은 환경의 훼 손과 쉽게 연결된다. 초연결, 초지능으로 구현되는 4차 산업혁명과 함께 다른 한편에는 반드시 보전되어야만 하는 것들이 있다. 문화·자연유산, 환경, 삶의 가치와 윤리 등이 그것이다. 특히 제주도와 같은 문화관광도 시에는 이러한 개발과 보전의 조화가 필수적이다. 본 세션에서는 혁신적 변화를 위한 인공지능뿐만이 아니 라, 기후, 생태계, 수질, 대기 등의 환경보존 그리고 소 중한 문화·자연유산 보전을 위한 인공지능의 역할에 대하여 토론하고, 변화와 보전이 조화된 “스마트문화 관광도시” 구현을 위한 아시아 다자간 협력 방법과 정 보 클라우드를 논한다.
