With the inter-Korean summit, the circumstances on the Korean peninsula have changed and the question whether there will be a new reengineering of peace in Asia is getting a lot of attention from the international media. This session seeks to enhance the awareness and understanding of the ROK government’s vision for peace and prosperity on the Korean peninsula. There will also be a discussion among distinguished journalists from 18 countries on their views regarding the Korean peninsula’s future and the role of the international media.

최근 남북정상회담을 신호탄으로 한반도 정세가 급변하고 있다. 국제 언론은 그간 긴장관계에 있던 동북아에 ‘새로운 평화의 질서’가 수립될 것인지 관심을 집중하고 있다. 이 세션에서는 한반도 평화와 번영을 위한 우리 정부의 비전을 소개하고, 18개국 주요 각국 언론인들을 통해 국제언론이 보는 한반도의 미래와 언론의 역할은 무엇인지 논의해 볼 예정이다.
