오늘날 경쟁과 대결의 흐름이 지속됨에 따라 국제사회는 외교와 협력의 절실함을 더욱 체감하고 있다. 이러한 국제환경 속에서 대한민국 정부는 “자유·평화·번영에 기여하는 글로벌 중추국가”를 국정과제로 삼고, 한국외교 역사상 최초의 포괄적 지역전략으로 평가되는 「자유, 평화, 번영의 인도-태평양 전략」을 펼치며 외교와 협력의 확대에 힘쓰고 있다. 이 세션에서는 과거에 대한민국 외교를 진두지휘했던 역대 외교장관 4인이 한자리에 모여 현 정부가 글로벌 중추국가 구상을 실현하기 위해 펼쳐온 그간의 우리 외교의 성과를 살펴보고, 격변하는 국제정세를 전망하면서 향후 우리 외교의 최우선 과제들이 무엇인지에 대한 지혜를 나눌 예정이다.

As the international community continues to grapple with global competition and confrontation, the importance of diplomacy and cooperation is becoming increasingly evident. In this context, the Yoon Suk Yeol Administration presented its National Security Strategy, "Global Pivotal State for Freedom, Peace, and Prosperity." Additionally, the Yoon Administration launched the "Strategy for a Free, Peaceful, and Prosperous Indo-Pacific Region," which is considered to be the first comprehensive regional strategy of the Republic of Korea (ROK). This session will bring together four former foreign ministers of the ROK to review the Yoon Administration's diplomatic endeavors aimed at achieving its vision of becoming a Global Pivotal State. They will share their insights on identifying diplomatic priorities amidst the evolving geopolitical landscape.
