• 현재 전세계적으로 전례 없는 저출생, 고령화 및 자살률 증가 현상이 주요 선진국과 일본을 시작으로 주변 국가와 개발도상국에도 시차를 두고 확산
• 특히 한국은 평균수명의 연장과 전대미문의 저출생 현상으로 2026년에는 전체 인구의 20% 이상이 고령인구인 초고령사회에 진입할 것으로 예상
• 또한 우리나라는 OECD 회원국 중 자살률 1위라는 차지할 만큼 사회적 문제가 되고 있음
• 따라서 저출생, 초고령화 및 자살률 증가 문제를 해결하기 위해 동아시아가 연대하여 공동 대응해 나갈 수 있는 글로벌 협력체계 구축

• Currently, the unprecedented low birth rate, aging population, and increasing suicide rate around the world are spreading to neighboring and developing countries, starting with Japan, a major developed country.
• In particular, the Republic of Korea is expected to enter a super-aged society where more than 20% of the population is elderly by 2026 due to prolonged life expectancy and unprecedented low birth rate.
• Also, the Republic of Korea's suicide rate ranks first among OECD member countries, emerging as a social problem.
• Therefore, to solve the problems of low birth rate, hyper-aging, and increasing suicide rate, a global cooperation system will be established in which East Asia can jointly respond in solidarity.
