인도-태평양은 안보와 경제를 아우르는 복합적 위기 대응을 위한 새로운 협력의 전략적 중심지로 부상하고 있다. 대한민국은 이러한 세계적 흐름에 발맞춰 올해를 ‘인도-태평양 전략’ 실행의 원년으로 삼고 자유, 평화, 번영의 세 가지 보편적 가치 아래 글로벌 복합위기 극복을 위한 연대에 박차를 가하고 있다.

자유, 평화, 번영을 위한 인도-태평양 협력을 효과적으로 실현하기 위해서는 인도-태평양 전략을 발표한 파트너 국가들과의 지속적인 대화를 통해 협력 분야와 방안을 모색해야 한다. 이번 세션에서는 다양한 배경의 전문가들과 함께 미국, 유럽, 아세안, 대한민국의 인도-태평양 협력의 비전을 공유하고자 한다.

The strategic importance of the Indo-Pacific is greater than ever, as it has become a new center of global cooperation in addressing multiple security threats and promoting economic prosperity. In line with the global focus on the Indo-Pacific region, the Republic of Korea has designated 2023 as the first year of implementing its Indo-Pacific strategy to accelerate solidarity for global cooperation in addressing multiple crises under the universal values of freedom, peace, and prosperity.

To achieve effective Indo-Pacific cooperation, there needs to be a continuous dialogue among nations that have announced their Indo-Pacific strategies to identify priorities and explore opportunities for collaboration. This session will bring together experts from various backgrounds to share their visions for Indo-Pacific cooperation for freedom, peace, and prosperity from the perspective of the United States of America, Europe, ASEAN, and the Republic of Korea.
