FORUM

At the forum, domestic and international participants from 60 sessions dealt with various issues ranging from international cooperation & security, economy & business, culture, gender, community development, and the environment, and had wide discussions on regional and global cooperation and challenges beyond the Asia’s paradox for new Asia. And the Trilateral cooperation Secretariat participated in the forum for the first time, organizing 3 concurrent sessions, and contributed to the Jeju Forum’s goal of peace and prosperity in Korea, Japan, and China.

Youth is considered as an area of potential growth in the society. To foster them into global talents and to provide them an opportunity to grow as global leaders, Jeju Youth Forum serves as a platform for high school students from those cities that maintain a formal relationship with Jeju Province. In this session previous forum participants will discuss their experiences and suggest directions that the Youth Forum could take, as well as to develop ideas on how to make this session into a regular discussion to promote Jeju Youth Forum within the framework of Jeju Forum.

제주국제청소년포럼은 제주의 성장 동력 중 하나인 청소년들의 글로벌 인재육성과 국제사회에서의 리더가 되기 위한 무대로서 매년 해외 자매우호도시 및 국제교류도시 등의 청소년들이 참여하여 운영되고 있습니다. 이 세션에서는 청소년 포럼에 참여한 제주도 학생들이 세계 각국의 청소년들과 교류하면서 얻을 다양한 경험과 더불어 앞으로 청소년 포럼이 나아갈 방향 들을 제안하고자 합니다. 또한 깊이 있는 토론을 통해 제주국제청소년포럼을 내실 있게 발전시켜 나갈 뿐만 아니라, 세션을 정례화하여 미래의 글로벌 리더를 양성하는 청소년 교류협력 프로그램으로 자리매김해 나가고자 합니다.
