FORUM

At the forum, domestic and international participants from 60 sessions dealt with various issues ranging from international cooperation & security, economy & business, culture, gender, community development, and the environment, and had wide discussions on regional and global cooperation and challenges beyond the Asia’s paradox for new Asia. And the Trilateral cooperation Secretariat participated in the forum for the first time, organizing 3 concurrent sessions, and contributed to the Jeju Forum’s goal of peace and prosperity in Korea, Japan, and China.

The key to Korea-China city diplomacy is CBD exchanges. CBD is a hub of commercial activities in modern times, equipped with the functions and facilities of major businesses and their supporting businesses. The function of economic control among the conditions for the market economy system tends to rely on the function of large business districts. Today, CBD serves not only as a backbone of the market economy system but also as a key element to the city, such as in the fields of science and technology and culture. Therefore, this session intends to identify measures that will promote exchanges by exchanging CBDs between Korea and China.

한중간 지방 도시 외교의 핵심은 CBD 교류입니다. CBD는 주요사업, 지원산업의 기능과 시설을 갖춘 현대 상업활동의 중심지입니다. 시장경제 조건에서 경제의 제어기능은 항상 거대한 비즈니스 구역의 기능에 의존하는 경향이 있으며, 오늘날 CBD는 시장경제 체제의 중추적 기능 뿐만 아니라 과학기술과 문화 등 도시의 핵심 기능을 하고 있습니다. 이에 한중간 CBD 교류를 통한 교류 활성화 방안을 모색해 보고자 합니다.
