FORUM

At the forum, domestic and international participants from 60 sessions dealt with various issues ranging from international cooperation & security, economy & business, culture, gender, community development, and the environment, and had wide discussions on regional and global cooperation and challenges beyond the Asia’s paradox for new Asia. And the Trilateral cooperation Secretariat participated in the forum for the first time, organizing 3 concurrent sessions, and contributed to the Jeju Forum’s goal of peace and prosperity in Korea, Japan, and China.

Jeju, Asia’s top treasure island boasting of beautiful nature, is developing a free international city that can compete with the rest of the world by actively dealing with the rapidly changing world and maximizing its potential in major areas such as tourism, investment, education, and environment. In this session, we will examine investment attractiveness of Jeju in comparison with those of other regions to promote global corporations’ investment in Jeju and present new strategies for investment attraction directions that can benefit both Jeju and its local residents to make Jeju a free international city.
