[Jeju Peace Institute 제주평화구원]<BR><BR>To celebrate the ASEAN’s 50th anniversary, the Jeju Peace Institute is convening ‘Korea-ASEAN Think Tank Summit.’ This special session brings together leaders and thinkers from South Korea and ASEAN to discuss the role and significance of think tanks in promoting regional integration and interregional cooperation. In particular, participants will deliberate on role and significance of think tanks in the context of ASEAN and share their thoughts on the synergy between Track One and Track Two in ASEAN policymaking. Participants will also discuss ways in which think tanks can improve relations between South Korea and ASEAN, and find out how the experiences of strong Track One-Track Two cooperation in ASEAN can be made relevant in Northeast Asia.<BR><BR>제주평화연구원은 아세안 창설 50주년을 기념하는 특별세션으로 ‘한-아세안 싱크탱크 서밋’을 개최 한다. 한-아세안 싱크탱크 특별세션에는 한국과 아 세안의 지도자와 전문가가 참여해 지역통합을 증진 하고 지역 간 협력을 도모하는데 싱크탱크가 갖는 중요성과 역할을 논의하고, 아세안 정책을 결정할 때 트랙 원(Track One)과 트랙 투(Track Two)의 시너지에 관한 의견도 교환할 예정이다. 참가자들은 특히 싱크탱크가 한-아세안 협력을 증진하는 데 어 떤 중요성과 역할을 갖는지 알아보며, 아세안에서 트랙 원과 트랙 투의 긴밀한 협력 경험이 동북아에 어떻게 적용될 수 있는지 논의한다.
