Recently, the concept of “global leadership” is emerging. A new leader who has a sensitive heart as well as cool-headed intellect is required in this global era in which the boundaries between domestic and foreign economies are blurred and corporate competition is expanding over the world.
Innovation leads to the swift development, differentiation of products, and key factors for global competition; engineers and entrepreneurs are at the heart of it. The protagonists in innovation are corporate members, and so innovation is above all required of the leader. An intellect-sentiment and converged mind is also required of the leader. This session will examine the qualifications for convergence leadership in this new global era and make predictions on the new future pursued by the leaders.

최근 ‘글로벌 리더십’ 이란 개념이 떠오르고 있다. 국내와 국외 경제 구분이 사라지고 기업의 경쟁무대가 세계로 확장되는 글로벌 시대로 접어들면서 단순히 차가운 지성만이 아닌 뜨거운 가슴, 즉 감성을 함께 지닌 리더가 요구되고 있는 것이다.
시장경쟁의 필수 요소로 자리 잡은 신속성과 상품 프로세스의 차별화는 혁신을 통해 이루어지고 그 핵심에는 기술자와 경영자, 즉 사람이 있다. 즉 혁신의 주체는 그 조직의 인적 구성원이고 리더에게 가장 먼저 혁신이 요구된다. 여기에 지성과 감성을 아우를 수 있는 융합적 마인드가 필요하다. 이 세션에서는 글로벌 시대를 이끌어나갈 융합적 리더의 자질에 대해 알아보고 이러한 리더들이 만들어 나갈 새로운 미래를 예측해본다.
