number of countries around the globe are designing and implementing innovations in public administration with a focus on open government and collaborative governance. The innovation should be seen not only as a single practice, but as a process to transform government to better respond to citizens’ needs and aspirations crystallized in the national development strategies and policies that reflect the ambitions of the SDGs.
This session will provide a platform to discuss new innovative approaches in innovation. In particular, it will focus on collaborative governance and touch upon the importance of capacity development needed to promote innovation in governments at all levels.

전 세계 많은 국가들이 열린 정부와 협력적 거버넌스를 중심으로 공공행정 혁신을 기획 및 구현하고 있다. 이러한 혁신은 일회성 실행이 아니라 시민들의 수요에 더 효율적으로 대응하고 국가의 발전전략에 더 명확한 방향을 제시하며 유엔 지속가능개발목표의 가치와도 부합하는 정부 변화의 과정이 되어야 한다.
이 세션에서는 이런 혁신을 실현하기 위한 다양한 방안을 논의하며 특히 혁신에서 협력적 거버넌스의 역할과 중요성, 그리고 중앙과 지방을 아우르는 정부 혁신을 위한 역량개발 방안에 중점을 둘 것이다.
