지방정부는 아태 지역의 지속가능한 평화와 번영을 위한 협력의 주체로서 중요한 역할을 맡고 있다. 이에 제주특별자치도는 제주와 아태 지역의 공동번영을 위한 국제교류와 협력의 비전을 담은 '제주 아세안+α' 정책을 적극적으로 펼치고 있다. 본 라운드테이블에서는 '제주 아세안+α'의 추진 방향에 대한 혜안을 얻고자 핵심 파트너들을 초청하여 '제주 아세안+α' 비전을 공유하고 연대·협력 방안에 대한 아이디어를 교환하고자 한다.

Recognizing the important role of local governments as partners for sustainable peace and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province has been pursuing the 'Jeju ASEAN+α', a vision to strengthen ties with local governments in the Asia-Pacific to advance cooperation for a shared prosperous future. This session aims to share the 'Jeju ASEAN+α' vision and discuss the way forward.
