세계화와 지방화가 중첩되는 글로컬라이제이션 시대에는 국가의 역할만큼이나 도시 스스로 지역 경쟁력을 확보하기 위한 노력이 요구된다. 따라서 본 세션에서는 글로벌 및 국내 도시재생 트렌드와 더불어 도내 원도심 쇠퇴 및 도시문제 대응을 위한 「글로벌 교류 허브」 조성 사업의 추진 방향에 대해 살펴보고, 원도심의 지역 경쟁력 강화를 위한 지속가능한 발전 방향 및 솔루션을 함께 모색하고자 한다.

In the era of globalization and localization overlapping, efforts to secure regional competitiveness by cities themselves are as crucial as the role of nations. Therefore, in this session, we aim to examine the direction of the "Global Exchange Hub" project for revitalizing the old downtown and addressing urban issues in Jeju, along with global and domestic urban regeneration trends. We also seek to explore sustainable development directions and solutions for enhancing the regional competitiveness of the old downtown area.
