미.중 전략경쟁, 우크라이나 전쟁, 경제안보 등 글로벌 도전에 대응하여 보편가치와 신뢰 기반의 외교가 점차 강조되고 있으며 인도-태평양 지역에서 가치를 공유 하고 뜻을 같이 하는 국가들 간의 연대가 어느 때보다 중요해지고 있다. 이러한 시점에 대한민국은 인도-태평양 지역에서 전략적 글로벌네트워크를 강화하기 위한 대한민국 공공외교의 역할과 분야별 발전 방안에 대해 논의해 본다.


Diplomacy based on universal values and trust, and the coalition among the like-minded countries in the Indo-Pacific are more important than ever, facing global challenges including the US-China strategic competition, the Russia-Ukrainian War, economic security, etc.
In this session, we will examine the roles of South Korea’s public diplomacy and the way forward to strengthen strategic global networks in the Indo-Pacifc.
