Man-Yol YI is a honorary professor at Sookmyung Women’s University. He is also the Chairman of the Commemorative Committee for Kyo-Shin KIM and the President of South-North Korean Cultural Exchange Association. He graduated from the Seoul National University majoring in Sociology and a Phd in Literature and served as a professor at the Sookmyung Women’s University, the representative of the International Civil Exchange Society for Foreign workers, the Chairman of the Public Jury for the Meritorious of the Independence and the Chairman of the Council for the Christian Professors in Korea. In addition, he acted as the Chairman of the Ethics Committee for the Public Service in Seoul and the 8th Chairman of the National History Compilation Committee.


이만열 숙명여자대학교 명예교수는 (사)김교신선생기념사업회 회장, 남북역사문화교류협회 이사장으로 활동하고 있다. 서울대학교 문리과대학 사학과 및 동대학원 문학박사를 전공하였으며 숙명여대 교수, 외국인근로자를 위한 국제민간교류협회 대표, 독립유공자공적심사위원장(국가보훈처), 한국기독자교수협의회 회장의 직책을 맡았다. 또한 서울시공직자윤리위원회 위원장 및 제 8대 국사편찬위원회 위원장으로 역임하였다.
