	Ministry of Ecology and Environment of People’s Republic of China 중국 생태환경부 Director General of Department of Climate Change 기후변화사 사장 Gao LI, P.h.D, is a Director General of Department of Climate Change, Ministry of Ecology and Environment of People’s Republic of China. He got his two Master's Degrees from Tsinghua University and Yale University respectively and got his Doctoral Degree from Tsinghua University. He used to work for the Ministry of Science and Technology and engaged in the policy and strategy research, project management and international cooperation on sustainable development, environment and climate change for a long time. He joined the UN Climate Change Negotiation since 2005 and served as one of the main negotiators of the Chinese Government. He started working for NDRC since 2008 and became Deputy Director General of the Department of Climate Change in 2012. Since then he took quite a few important tasks, including formulation of China’s Climate Change Strategy, Policy and Medium and Long Term goals, in charge of low carbon city pilots, Climate Change legislation, management of China’s Clean Development Mechanism Fund and promotion of Carbon Market. He became the Director General of the Department of Climate Change in November of 2017. 리 가오는 생태환경부 기후변화사 사장으로, 칭화대학교와 예일대학교에서 각각 석사학위를 받았으며 칭화대학교에서 박사학위를 취득하였다. 과학기술부 근무 당시 정책 및 전략 연구, 프로젝트 관리, 지속가능한 개발, 환경, 기후변화에 대한 국제협력 업무를 담당하였다. 그는 2005년에 유엔 기후변화협상에 참여하였으며, 중국 정부의 주요 협상가 중 한 명으로 활동하였다. 2008년 국가발전개혁위원회(NDRC)에서 근무하기 시작했으며 2012년 기후변화사의 부사장이 되었다. 이후에는 중국의 기후변화 전략•정책 및 중장기 목표 수립, 저탄소 도시 시범사업, 기후변화입법, 중국 청정개발 메커니즘 기금 관리 및 탄소시장 촉진 등 다수의 중요한 업무를 맡았다. 리 사장은 2017년 11월 기후변화사 사장으로 부임하였다.
