Mr. Hussein Macarambon joined ILO Country Office for the Philippines as the national project coordinator for the Integrated Programme on Fair Recruitment (FAIR). This global project seeks to contribute to the promotion of fair recruitment practices globally and across specific migration corridors in North Africa, the Middle East and South Asia. Target countries for pilot projects include Tunisia, Jordan, Nepal and the Philippines.

Having a strong monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and research background, he has previously worked as a consultant to the UNESCO Regional Office in Jakarta, the UNDP, UNAIDS, WFP, Asian Development Bank, and the World Bank Manila Office. He also served as a researcher at the Asian Center - University of the Philippines and was a Lecturer at the Political Science departments of the Ateneo de Manila University and De La Salle University Taft.

철저한 모니터링과 평가(M&E), 연구 배경을 가지고있는 그는 자카르타에 있는 유네스코 지역 사무소, UNDP, UNAIDS, 아시아개발은행, 세계 은행 마닐라 사무소에서 자문 위원으로 일했다. 또한 필리핀의 아시아센터 대학에서 연구원과 아테네오 드 마닐라 대학과 드 라 살레 대학의 정치학과에서 강사로 일했다.
