Dongsoo Lee received his B.S. in Physics from Sogang University, Seoul, Rep. of Korea, in 1993, and received his M.S. and PhD in communications engineering from Information and Communications University (current KAIST), Daejeon, Rep. of Korea, in 2000 and 2004, respectively. In 2005, he joined Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), where he engaged in research and development on FTTH technologies for next generation optical access network. Since 2016, he has been leading projects for the development of Smart City solutions in addition to industrial IoT and optical communications technologies to foster regional industry as the head of Honam Research Center of ETRI.

이동수 한국전자통신연구원 호남권연구센터장은 1993년 물리학 전공으로 서강대학교를 졸업하고, 2000년과 2004년에 각각 한국정보통신대학교(2009년 한국과학기술원에 통합)에서 통신공학으로 석사 및 박사 학위를 받았다. 2005년에 한국전자통신연구원(ETRI)에 입사하여 차세대 광가입자망을 위한 FTTH 기술의 연구개발을 담당하였고, 2016년부터는 호남권연구센터장으로서 호남지역 전략산업 육성을 위해 광통신기술 및 산업인터넷기술과 더불어 스마트시티 솔루션에 대한 연구개발 프로젝트를 이끌고 있다.
