From September 2014 to April 2018, he served as the head of Seoul Headquarters and head of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province
Kime was a permanent member of the Federation of Korean Industries from February 2010 to February 2014 and promoted overseas cooperation projects
Kim served as a member of the Social Culture and Policy Committee of the National Council for National Reconciliation and Cooperation from June 2009 to July 2014
Kim served as an advisor to the Republic of Korea National Assembly from November 2005 to May 2012.

2005년 11월부터 2012년 5월가지 대한민국 국회 보좌관을 하면서 정무와 언론파트를 담당하였다.
