Kim Yang-Bo is enthusiastic environmental activist and director general of Environment Conservation Bureau Jeju. He received a bachelor degree in environment engineering and PhD in sociology. He has been taken responsible on managing Jeju environment in 1999, policy making of environmental sector in 2006 as a public area expert. Meanwhile, from 2013, he also appointed IUCN(International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources) environment cooperation manager in order to support long-term agreement between Jeju and IUCN in 2012. Kim Yang-bo has been committed to improve environmental value and its importance as a leader of Jeju public sector.

김양보는 대한민국 제주특별자치도 환경보전국 국장이자 활발한 환경활동가이다. 대학에서 환경공학을 전공하고 사회학 박사이기도 한 그는 1999년부터 제주 공공환경분야 중 환경관리, 환경정책분야의 리더로 제주환경분야 발전에 공헌하였다. 또한 세계최대규모의 환경보호 관련 국제기구인 국제자연보호연맹의 환경협력관으로서 2013년부터 2년간 역할을 담당하기도 했다. 현재 그는 제주특별자치도 환경보전국의 수장으로 제주의 환경가치 증진, 보호를 위하여 최선의 노력을 다하고 있다.
