Chaesung Chun is a Professor at the Department of International Relations in Seoul National University, majoring in international relations theory and security relations in East Asia. He is the Chair of Center for International Relations Studies of East Asian Institute. He is a member of Advisory Committee for the Ministry of defense, and the Ministry of Reunification. He was a visiting professor at Keio University in Tokyo from 2010-2011. He received his MA degree from the Seoul National University, and Ph.D degree from Northwestern University in the field of International Relations Theory.
