Professor Kim Seok Hwan is president of ‘Korea Institute for Eurasian Studies’, and visiting professor of Hankuk Univ. of Foreign Studies. Professor Kim had formerly served as a long time journalist at JoongAng Ilbo, Korea’s leading daily. He served two terms as a Moscow correspondent, and has been active for many years as an editor of world affairs, and editorial writer. Healso served as a advisor to National Security Council, and a member of Presidential Committee of Policy Planning. Later he joined government as senior press secretary to Prime Minister.After that he worked as a research fellow at KIET, and vice-president of Jusung Univ.
<BR><BR>김석환(Kim Seok Hwan)은 한국외대 초빙교수이자 한국유라시아연구소장이다. 한국외대 러시아어과와 동대학원 동구지역학과를 졸업했고 중앙일보 모스크바 특파원과 국제부장, 논설위원, 산업연구원 초청연구위원, 주성대학교 부총장 등을 지냈다. 대통령 자문 정책기획위원, 국가안전보장회의(NSC)정책자문위원, 남북관계발전위원회 위원, 국회의장 자문 남북화해 및 협력위원회 부위원장 등을 역임했다. 주로 저서 및 공저로는 ‘미래를 위한 제언 2016’, (공저, 국회, 2016), ‘유라시아와 한반도 2030’(한국외대 출판부 2014), ‘한국의 북극 거버넌스 구축 및 참여전략’ (대외경제정책연구원 2014), ‘남-북-러 3각 경제협력 방안연구’, (공저, 산업연구원, 2014) 등이 있다.
