Yonemura Koichi is Seoul Bureau Chief of the Mainichi Newspapers. He covers a wide area of domestic and foreign policy of ROK. He has interviewed President Park in November, 2015, by letter and reported Japan-Korea-China Foreign Minister Meeting in August, 2016. Prior to becoming the Bureau Chief in April, 2015, he was a Beijing correspondent from 2010 to 2013, reporting on Chinese foreign policy and Japan-China-Korea relations. During this time, he broaded his area of interest to DPRK. He reported the military parade for the 65th Anniversary of DPRK Labor Party in Peongyang, October, 2010 when Chairman Kim Jung-En made his first public apperance. He has also interviewed Presidend Ma Ying Jeou of Taiwan in December 2013. During his time as a foreign correspondent in China, he visited the Chinese-DPRK boarder more than 30 times and interviewed over 50 DPRK government officials, business persons and refugees and continues to keep in contact which allows him to keep up with the current events of DPRK.
<BR><BR>요네무라 고이치는 현재 마이니치 신문의 서울지국장을 역임하고 있다. 그는 주로 남한의 대내외정책을 다룬다. 그는 2015년 11월 박근혜 대통령을 인터뷰했으며, 2016년 8월 한중일 외교부장관 회담을 취재하였다. 2015년 서울지국장을 역임하기 이전, 2010년부터 2013년까지 북경 특파원으로 재직하면서 중국의 외교정책과 한중일 관계를 주로 다루었다. 또한, 그의 취재범위를 북한으로까지 확대하면서 2010년 김정은이 공식석상에 처음으로 드러낸 북한 노동당 창설 65주년 열병식을 평양에서 취재하였다. 그리고 그는 2013년 당시 대만 대통령이었던 마잉져우를 인터뷰하였고, 2013년 북경 특파원 재직 당시 북중 접경지역을 30 차례 넘게 방문하였고, 50명이 넘는 북한의 공직자, 기업인, 피난민 등을 인터뷰하면서 북한의 최근 이슈들에 대해서 지속적인 관심을 보여왔다.
