Dr. Dong-ho Han is a Research Fellow of Center for North Korean Human Rights Studies at the Korea Institute for National Unification (KINU). He received his Ph.D. degree in Political Science from University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Dr. Han’s main research areas are Northeast Asian Security, Inter-Korean Relations, North Korean Politics and Society, North Korean Human Rights, and Korean Reunification. Formerly, Dr. Han served as Visiting Professor at the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) from September 2010 to February 2012. In March 2012, Dr. Han joined KINU Center for North Korean Human Rights Studies. Dr. Han is a regular lecturer both at the Office of International Affairs in Yonsei University and at the Settlement Support Center for North Korean Refugees (Hanawon), which belongs to the Ministry of Unification. His publications include “Technical Cooperation for improving Human Rights” (2015), “Korea Unification and East Asia: Peace and Prosperity” (2015), and “A Study on the South Korean Government’s Human Rights Policy toward North Korea” (2014).
<BR><BR>한동호 통일연구원 북한인권연구센터 연구위원은 미국 네브라스카 대학에서 정치학 박사학위를 받았으며, 주요 연구영역은 동북아 국제정치, 남북관계, 북한인권, 통일외교이다. 2010년부터 2012년까지 외교통상부 외교안보연구원 객원교수로 활동하였고, 현재는 통일연구원 북한인권연구센터 연구위원으로 활동 중이다. 주요 저서로는 『인권개선을 위한 기술협력』 (2015), 『한반도 통일과 동아시아 평화 번영』 (2015), 『한국의 대북 인권정책 연구』 (2014) 등이
