김성중은 제주특별자치도 행정부지사입니다. 그는 제주특별자치도 제주시 출신입니다. 연세대학교 행정학과를 졸업하였고, 서울대학교 대학원과 Exeter University에서 행정학 석사학위를 받았습니다.
김 부지사는 대통령비서실 선임비서관이었습니다. 그리고 행정안전부에서 비서실장, 정부혁신기획관, 조직정책관, 재난대응정책관을 역임하기도 했습니다.
