하윤빈은 외교부 외교전략기획관실 전략조정담당관이다. 서울대학교 외교학과 학사, 석사를 거쳐 미국 아메리칸 대학에서 국제관계학 박사 학위를 취득했다. 국제/국내 불평등과 재생산 메커니즘, 미-중 전략경쟁과 국제질서, 국제개발협력, 민주주의-개발 연계성, 한국과 아프리카 정치경제 등에 대해 관심을 갖고 연구하고 있다. 과거 한국국제협력단(KOICA) 근무시 DR콩고와 우간다에서 3년 반 근무한 경험이 있으며 나이지리아에 대한 논문들이 Review of African Political Economy, 국제개발협력연구 등에 게재된 바 있다.

Yoonbin Ha is the Director of Strategic Analysis and Coordination Division, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea. He received his PhD in international relations (with the field concentration of development studies) from American University’s School of International Service in Washington D.C. In addition to his PhD in IR, he holds MA and BA degrees in IR and a BA in Economics from Seoul National University. He is specifically interested in the issues of inequality at global and domestic levels (including the mechanisms which socially reproduce it), US-China strategic competition and international order, international development cooperation, development-democracy nexus, and Korean and African political economy. He used to work in KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) as a development practitioner for Korean government. Especially, he worked in DRC and Uganda for three and half years. He has also published peer-reviewed articles in the journals Review of African Political Economy and International Development and Cooperation Review regarding Nigeria’s 2015 election and public service provision.
