존 블랙스랜드(John Blaxland)는 호주국립대 아시아태평양학부 코랄 벨 아시아태평양스쿨 전략국방연구센터(SDSC) 소속 국제안보 및 정보학 교수이다. 전직 호주 육군 장교인 그는 전 본부 합동작전사령부 합동정보작전보부장(J2)이자, 태국 및 미얀마 국방무관, SDSC를 이끌며 호주국립대학 동남아시아 연구소 소장을 지냈다. 그는 “Honeypots and Overcoats: Australian Intelligence in the World” 및 호주의 지정전략 SWOT 분석을 가르친다. 또한 그는 국제 안보정세 분야에 대해 논하고, 아리랑TV를 포함한 다양한 뉴스 미디어를 통해 해설을 제공한다. 그의 최근 출판물은 다음과 같다.

John Blaxland is Professor of International Security and Intelligence Studies in the Strategic and Defence Studies Centre (SDSC), Coral Bell School of Asia Pacific Affairs, College of Asia and the Pacific at the Australian National University (ANU). A former army officer, he has been a Chief Intelligence Staff Officer (J2), HQ Joint Operations Command, defence attaché to Thailand and Myanmar, Head of SDSC and Director ANU Southeast Asia Institute. He teaches “Honeypots and Overcoats: Australian Intelligence in the World” and the Geostrategic SWOT Analysis for Australia).
