Linda Hjelle is an Associate Political Affairs Officer in the Asia and the Pacific Division of the United Nations Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (UNDPPA), covering the Republic of Korea, Pacific countries as well as Youth, Peace and Security initiatives. Linda previously worked at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Beijing. She holds a dual master’s degree in Chinese Society and Politics from the University of Oslo and Zhejiang University, as well as BAs in Chinese Studies and International Relations from the University of Oslo. She speaks Mandarin.
