Dr. Son is a research scientist at Jeju Research Institute. He received his Ph.D. degree in Transportation Engineering from Old Dominion University, Virginia, USA, in 2013, and his M.S. and B.S. degrees from Ajou University, Suwon, South Korea, in 2006 and 2004, respectively. His research interests are travel and activity behavior, travel survey methods, transit-oriented development, electric vehicle, computational statistics, and econometrics. He has published over 30 journal and conference papers and 10 technical reports. He is a member of Jeju Self-special Governing Province Transportation Policy Committee and Jeju Self-special Governing Province Electric Vehicle Policy Committee. He conducts several transportation projects and leads the Jeju electric vehicle policy research center.
<BR><BR>손상훈 제주발전연구원 책임연구원은 교통공학, 계획 및 전기차 정책 전문가이다. 2014년 미국 올드도미니언 주립대에서 교통공학 박사학위를 취득하였으며, 아주대학교에서 2006년과 2004년에 석사학위와 학사학위를 받았다. 주요 연구분야는 통행 및 활동행태, 교통조사 분석, 대중교통중심개발, 전기차, 계산통계, 계량경제이다. 지금까지 30여 편의 논문을 발표하고 게재하였으며, 10여 편 이상의 정책 및 기술보고서를 작성하였다. 현재 제주특별자치도 교통 위원회 위원, 전기차 활성화 위원회 위원으로 활동하고 있다. 연구책임자로 다수의 교통 프로젝트를 수행하고 있으며, 제주 전기차 정책연구센터를 이끌어나가고 있다.
