JUN Byoung-Kon 전병곤
	Korea Institute for National Unification 통일연구원 Senior Research fellow 선임연구위원 전병곤 박사는 현재 통일연구원 선임연구위원으로 재직 중이다. 주요 연구 분야는 중국정치, 동북아 국제관계, 북·중관계 등이다. 전병곤 박사는 한국외국어대학교에서 정치학 박사 학위를 받았다. 주요 경력으로는 통일연구원 부원장(2019-2020), 중국현대국제관계연구원에서 객좌연구원(2009), 중국 하얼빈사범대 초빙교수(2011), 대만국립정치대 방문교수(2011~2012) 등을 역임한바 있고, 민주평화통일자문회의(NUAC) 상임위원(2013~2015/2021-현재), 한국외대 국제지역대학원 겸임교수(2010-2014)로도 활동한 바 있다. 주요 저작으로는 “China’s Sanctions on North Korea after It’s Fourth Nuclear Test” (2017), 『평화통일 공공외교 추진기반 조성을 위한 민간의 역할과 개선방안』(2021), 『미중 전략경쟁 시대 한국의 복합대응전략』(2022) 등이 있다. Dr. Jun Byoung-Kon is currently Senior Research Fellow at KINU. Dr. Jun’s research focuses on Chinese politics, international relations in Northeast Asia, and China-North Korean relations, etc. Dr. Jun Byoung-Kon received his B.A. from the Literature Department of the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies where he also earned his Ph.D. in Political Science. He was a Vice-President at KINU(2019-2020), a visiting researcher at the China Institute of Contemporary International Relations (2009) and a visiting professor at the Harbin Normal University (2011) and National Chengchi University (2011-2012). He is a member of the Standing Committee of the National Unification Advisory Council(NUAC) from 2021 to the present and has been working as an adjunct professor in the Graduate School of International and Area Studies of Hankuk University from 2010 to 2014. He is the author of “China’s Sanctions on North Korea after Its Fourth Nuclear Test”(2017), 「Searching for the ways of Improving the Role of Civil Society in Constructing the Foundation for the Public Diplomacy on the Peace and Unification of the Korean Peninsula」 (2021) and 「The Era of U.S.-China Strategic Competition and South Korea’s Compound Response Strategy 」 (2022).

Dr. Jun Byoung-Kon is currently Senior Research Fellow at KINU.
