Dr. Bong-Geun Jun is currently Professor at the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) that he joined since 2005. Before joining the IFANS, Professor Jun held a few government and private positions: Policy Advisor to the Minister of Unification from 2003 to 2004; Visiting Scholar at Keio University in Tokyo and Japan-Korea Cultural Foundation Academic Fellow from 2001 to 2002; Secretary to the ROK President for international security affairs at the Blue House from 1993 to 1997; and a professional staffer at KEDO New York headquarters from 1997 to 2001. Dr. Jun’s research area covers the North Korean nuclear issue, inter-Korean relations, and nonproliferation issues. Dr. Jun received a BA and MA in political science from Seoul National University in 1982 and 1984 respectively and the Ph.D. in Political Science from University of Oregon in 1992.
<BR><BR>전봉근 교수는 현재 국립외교원 외교안보연구소에서 안보통일연구부 교수로 재직 중이다. 전문 분야로는 한반도문제, 북핵문제, 국제안보, 핵비확산, 원자력정책 등이다. 주요 보직으로 청와대 국제안보 비서관(1993~7), KEDO 뉴욕본부 전문위원(1997~2001), 일본 게이오대 방문연구원(2001~2), 통일부 장관정책보좌관(2003~4) 등을 역임하였고, 2005년 6월부터 외교안보연구원에 근무하기 시작했다. 전봉근 교수는 서울대 외교학과를 졸업하고 동 대학원에서 정치학석사, 미국 오레곤주립대에서 정치학박사 학위를 취득했다.
